Mt. Yubra Himal (6035m)

Mt. Yubra Himal peak lies in the Langtang region of Nepal. It is a very rarely climbed peak with fewer than 10 attempts since 2002, when the first permit was issued to climb Yubra Himal. The trek follows the regular route of the famous Langtang trek up to Kyangjin Gompa and then heads to the base camp of Yubra Himal. The climb requires 4/5 days and is a really interesting alternative to others crowded peaks.

 

 

ITINERARY

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu, transfer to hotel
Day 02: Full day Sightseeing around Kathmandu valley and preparation for the trek
Day 03: Drive to Syabru besi(1600m)
Day 04: Trek to Lama Hotel (2500m)
Day 05: Trek to Langtang Village(3100m)
Day 06: Trek to Kyanging Gompa (3750m)
Day 07: Rest Day for acclimatization
Day 08: Trek to Mt. Yubra Base Camp
Day 09: Full day rest and preparation day for climbing (approx 5000m.)

Day 10: Rest day and little hike for acclimatization

Day 11: Decent trek to Kyanjing Gompa
Day 12: Trek to Lama Hotel
Day 13: Trek to Syabru besi
Day 14: Drive to Kathmandu and transfer to hotel

Day 16: Final departure to homeland.
