Mt. Nyainquentanglha 7,162m/23,373ft
Nyainquentanglha lies in Damxung county of the Tibet Autonomous Region. Nyainquentanglha has characteristics in the obvious inland arid climate as it lies in the hinterland of the continent. The months of May to September proved to be a good season for climbing. At the northwest foot of the main peak rests the second largest, Nam Tso.

 

Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival Kathmandu. Transfer to hotel.
Day 02: Kathmandu. Briefing and shopping.

Day 03: Kathmandu.
Day 04: Fly Kathmandu to Lhasa (3600m). Transfer to hotel.
Day 05: Lhasa. Sightseeing Drepung, Sera & Norbulingka monasteries.
Day 06: Lhasa. Sightseeing Potala, Jokhang & Barkhor market.
Day 07: Drive to Nyainquentanglha base camp.(130km)
Day 08-10: Stay at base camp for acclimatization.

Day 11-29: Climbing Period.

Day 30: Cleaning up base camp.
Day 31: Drive to Lhasa. Overnight in hotel/camp.
Day 32: Lhasa. Free day FOR acclimatization.
Day 33: Fly to Kathmandu. Transfer to hotel.
Day 34-35: Kathmandu. Rest & Shopping day.
Day 36: Final departure from Kathmandu.
