Mera Peak
is one of the highest trekking peak located in Everest Region to the east of the main Khumbu trekking trails (Hinku Valley) with the height of 6654m. The trail follows the original Everest expedition route from the road head at Jiri, crossing the high ridges and spectacular deep river gorges of the Sherpa's and Tamang's homeland of Everest Region before entering the less-frequented wilderness of the Hinku Valley. However, most of the tourist can start this trek from Lukla airport by flight which is at the height of 2840m.)

Since J.O.M. Roberts and Sin Tenzing made the first successful ascent of Mera Peak on 20 th May 1953 , it is opened as one of the best tourist destination. From the summit of Mera peak one can observe the breadth taking view of alluring gigantic peaks above 8000m. like The Mt. Everest, Mt. Lotse, Mt. Mkalu, Mt. Kanchanjunga and Mt. Cho Oyu (Tibet). Under favorable conditions, it is possible to climb the peak and descend back on the same day. This climbing Mera Peak Expedition is made fully by camping trek.
