DOLPO TREK

Dolpo is isolated by Dhaulagiri massif from the rest of the kingdom. This isolation has created the land with its own distinct character which is clearly reflected in the social and cultural life of the people. The topographical formation has given this area somewhat the identity of Tibet. The migrant Hindus have settled and adapted themselves to the highland culture and traditions. They have perfectly merged themselves to the Buddhist culture. Trek days vary depending on the choice to go further towards Phoksundo Lake.
