Mt. Chhukung Ri (5550m)

Chhukung Ri climbing peak located in the Sagarmatha National Park region of Nepal. It forms part of what is known as the Khumbu Three Peaks, these are Pokalde peak, Island peak and Chhukung peak.

 

 

ITINERARY

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu, transfer to hotel
Day 02: Full day Sightseeing around Kathmandu valley and preparation for the trek
Day 03: Flight to Lukla and immediately trek to Phakding.
Day 04: Trek to Namche Bazar
Day 05: Acclimatization in Namche Bazaar and little hike.
Day 06: Trek to Tengboche(3860m.)
Day 07: Trek to Dingboche(4410m.)
Day 08: Trek to chhukhung(4730m.)
Day 09: Rest day and little hike for acclimatization
Day 10: Trek to Chhukhung Ri Base Camp
Day 11: Early morning climb Chhukhung Ri and decent to base camp
Day 12: clean the base camp
Day 13: Trek to Dingboche
Day 14: Trek to Tengboche
Day 15: Trek to Namche Bazaar
Day 16: Trek to Lukla airport

Day 17: Early morning flight to Kathmandu and transfer to hotel
Day 18: Rest day or final shopping day
Day 19: Final departure to homeland
