Mt. Baruntse Expedition 7,129m/23,389ft

BaruntseBaruntse is a mountain in eastern Nepal, crowned by four peaks and bounded on the south by the Hunku Glacier, on the east by the Barun Glacier, and on the northwest by the Imja Glacier. The mountain was first climbed on May 30, 1954 via the south ridge by Colin Todd and Geoff Harrow of a New Zealand expedition. Adventure Zambuling Treks have undertook numerous expedition in this mountain 100% safely. Adventure Zambuling Treks will only accept the clients with enough mountain experience for this expedition being the hardest climbing to reach camp 1.

Baruntse Baruntse Expedition

Day 01: Arrival Kathmandu and Transfer to hotel.
Day 02 : Briefing day and meeting with expedition team
Day 03 : Preparation day
Day 04 : Flight to Lukla (2860m-9384ft) and immediately trek to Chutanga (3137m-10411ft).
Day 05 : Trek to Nau Lekha.
Day 06 : Trek to Kothey (Tashi Ongma) (3520m-11549ft).
Day 07 :Trek to Thagnak (4355m-14289ft).
Day 08 : Trek to Khare (4745m-15568ft)
Day 09 : Trek to Mera Peak Base Camp.(5260m-17258ft)
Day 10 :Trek to Seto Pokhari camp.

Day 11 : Trek to Mt. Baruntse Base Camp.

Day 12-23 : Climbing Period Mt. Baruntse.

Day 24 : : Clean up Base Camp Baruntse
Day 25 : Trek back to Seto Pokhari camp.
Day 26 : Trek to Mera Peak Base Camp.
Day 27 : Trek to Khare.
Day 28 : Trek to Thagnak.
Day 29 : Trek to Kothey.
Day 30 : Trek to Chutanga.
Day 31 : Trek to Lukla.
Day 32 : Flight to Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.
Day 33 : Rest day but expedition leader need to visit NTB to refund garbage deposit
Day 34 : Final shopping day and dinner with expedition team
Day 35 : Final departure to homeland.

Baruntse Expedition to Everest Region

Day 01: Arrive Kathmandu and transfer to Hotel
Day 02: Briefing day and meeting with expedition team
Day 03: Fly to Lukla (2860 metres/9,400 feet)
Day 04: Trek to Chutanga (3474 metres/11,400 feet)
Day 05: Trek across the Zetra La pass (4600 metres/15,100 feet), to the village of Chatra La (4200 metres/13,800 feet)
Day 06: Trek to Kothey (Tashi Ongma) at 3500 metres/11,500 feet
Day 07: Trek to Tagnag at 4300 metres/14,100 feet
Day 08: Rest day, acclimatization, explore the surrounding area
Day 09: Trek to Khare at 5000 metres/16,400 feet, organize equipment
Day 10: Trek across the Mera La, which is at about 5300 metres/17,400 feet to Mera Peak Base Camp at 5100 metres/16,700 feet
Day 11: Rest day, acclimatization, explore the surrounding area

Day 12: Climb to High Camp, (5768 metres/18,978 feet)
Day 13: Summit Mera Peak (6476 metres/21,246 feet), descend trek back to Mera Peak Base Camp 5350m.

Day 14: Trek to Rato Oral (4683 metres/15,360 feet) on the Hongku Khola, which is the main river that flows from Baruntse
Day 15: Trek to Pokhari (5003 metres/16,409 feet)
Day 16: Walk to Baruntse Base Camp (5300 metres/17,400 feet)
Day 17: Rest & Acclimatization, training, and organization at Base Camp
Day 18: Rest in basecamp;

Day 19-30: Climbing period Mt. Baruntse

Day 31: Pack and prepare to depart basecamp;
Day 32: Hike to base of Amphu Labtsa pass;
Day 33: Cross Amphu Labtsa pass to to Chukkung;
Day 34: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3450 metres/11,300 feet). Teahouse or camping;
Day 35: Trek to Lukla. Teahouse or camping;
Day 36: Flight to Kathmandu and transfer to hotel
Day 37: Rest day but expedition leader need to visit NTB to refund garbage deposit
Day 38: Final shopping day and dinner with expedition team
Day 39: Final departure to your next destination
