Mt. Abi (6097m)

Mt Abi of Khumbu Himal range is located in the Mahalangur Solukhumbu region of Nepal. The mountain is also known as Cholo and also by Kangchung from the pass that reaches it - the Kangchung La. Mt. Abi is considered as the perfect peak to practice ice climbing and acclimatization before climbing peaks above 8000m.
ITINERARY
Day 12: Summit Mt Abi Peak (6097m) and return to Base Camp.
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu, transfer to hotel
Day 02: Full day Sightseeing around Kathmandu valley and preparation for the trek
Day 03: Flight to Lukla and immediately trek to Phakding.
Day 04: Trek to Namche Bazar
Day 05: Rest and acclimatisation day.
Day 06: Trek to Dole (4200).
Day 07: Trek to Machhermo (4470m).
Day 08: Trek to Gokyo (4790m).
Day 09: Climb Gokyo~Ri (5360m), trek to Thangna (Dragnag) (4950m)
Day 10: Trek to Abi Base Camp (5355m).
Day 11: High Camp (5610m).
Day 14: Trek to Dzonglha (4830m) crossing over Cho La Pass (5330m).
Day 15: Trek to Pheriche (4252m).
Day 16: Trek to Tengboche (3867m).
