The first part of the tour takes you over the majestic Himalaya offering you the long cherished breathtaking view of the Himalayan range including MT EVEREST (8,848 m) by an hour long Trans-Himalayan flight from KATHMANDU to LHASA.

The 2nd part brings you so close to the Shangri-la of TIBET making you feel yourself as being a part of a unique culture richly woven with legends, myths, rituals and festivals when you are in LHASA: cultural capital of TIBET, GYANTSE & XIGATSE: central cultural centres.
The last part of the tour takes you to the typically wonderful but far flung Tibetan landscape with a very high probability of encountering the nomads looking after the famous yak herds. Every descent right from Lalung La (pass of 5,050 m) starts telling you how high the plateau is along with the fascinating views of the incredible formation of the highest plateau of the world with awesomely beautiful rocks, cascades and canyons slightly hidden in the thin flying mists amidst the mighty presence of MT CHO OYU (8,201 m) & MT XISHAPAGMA (8,012 m).

Itinerary:

DAY 01 Arrival in KATHMANDU
Arrival in Tribhuwan international Airport and transfer to hotel. -HTL

DAY 02 IN KATHMANDU
Half day sightseeing in Kathmandu valley and preparation day for Tibet visit.-HTL

DAY 03 KATHMANDU - LHASA (3,650 m)
Transfer to airport. Fly (1 hr) to LHASA.. Transfer to LHASA (1 hr) through the new tunnel and check-in to HTL. Full rest for acclimatisation.

DAY 04 IN LHASA
AM: Visit POTALA PALACE. PM: Visit JOKHANG TEMPLE & BARKHOR BAZAAR – HTL

DAY 05 IN LHASA
AM: Visit DREPUNG MONASTERY. PM: Visit SERA MONASTERY - HTL

DAY 06: IN LHASA
Free in Lhasa – HTL

DAY 07 LHASA - GYANTSE (3,950 m) : 261 KM
Scenic drive to GYANTSE via YAMADROKE LAKE (Turquoise Lake) over crossing two high passes KARO LA (5,010 m) & KAMBALA (4,794 m) – HTL

DAY 08 GYANTSE – XIGATSE (3,900 m): 90 KM
AM: Visit to the KUMBUM STUPA & PHALKOR MONASTERY. PM: Drive to XIGATSE – HTL and– HTL

DAY 09 XIGATSE – NEW TINGRI (4150 m)/OLD TIGRI (4,200 m): 244 KM/305 KM
AM: Visit the PANCHEN LAMA’S TASHILHUMPU MONASTERY. PM: Picturesque drive to NEW TINGRI (XEGAR) by over crossing the high pass GYTSO LA (5220 m) – HTL.

DAY 10 NEW TINGRI/OLD TINGRI – RONBUK (4900 m): 125 KM
Scenic drive to RONBUK via PANG LA along the typical Tibetan landscape – Guest house in RONBUK

DAY 11 RONBUK – EVEREST BC – OLD TINGRI: 8 + 8 + 80 KM
AM: Rent a horse cart or walk to EVEREST BC and explore BC and back to RONBUK. PM: Drive back to OLD TINGRI – Guest house.

Day 12 – ZHANGMU (2300 m): 184 + 123 KM
AM: Scenic drive via LALUNG LA (Pass of 5,050 M) with an opportunity to see MT SHISHAPAGMA & MT CHO OYU (weather permitting) and continue downhill drive to ZHANGMU (border town) through the amazing landscape which reveals the secrets of the wonderful formation of the Tibetan plateau. PM: After necessary border formalities at ZHANGMU (Chinese immigration) and Kodari (Nepali immigration), scenic drive to KATHMANDU through the scenic Nepalese countryside – Transfer to your hotel.

Day 13: REST OR FINAL SHOPPING DAY: In this day we will rest at hotel or have some shopping for memorandom of Nepal and Tibet visit. And at evening we will have dinner all together with Nepalese staffs and members for memory.

Day 14: FINAL DEPARTURE TO YOUR NEXT DESTINATION
